  • I reserve the right to refuse or discontinue a commission at any time.

  • Maintain professional conduct throughout the commission process. Disrespectful behavior may result in the commission being terminated.

  • Failure to comply with the ToS may result in termination and/or the client being blacklisted.

  • Terminated commissions do not receive a refund.

Payment

  • General prices are in listed in USD, and will paid through PayPal invoices, CashApp, or the site they're hosted on such as Ko-Fi or Artistree.

  • When making a request, list the budget you have for the art. There are many things I factor into pricing, so the total will vary from project to project and time of year.

  • A payment must be made before I begin working on the commission. If you request a payment plan, we will work out the details of your installments based on your budget. Otherwise the payment will need to be made in full upfront.

Workflow

  • I generally work through Krita on a 3200x1800+ pixel canvas at 300ppi. I export my art as a PNG. If you would like a specific canvas size/dimension, let me know! Larger canvas sizes (above 4000 pixels) will incur a fee! Anything below 1080 pixels will suffer a low resolution.

  • Tell me BEFORE you pay me if you need the piece done by a certain date! My work flow varies with the season and I may be busy with holidays, faires, or volunteering.

  • I generally work in large but infrequent chunks, so MESSAGE ME asking for updates every week or two! I will email you the final piece + any extra material when I complete the art. This is so there isn't a quality drop.

  • My familiarity with your subject, the complexity of the scene, and level of finish you choose will affect how long I may be working on a piece.

  • The table below serves as a general outline for the total time each finish level takes. The outline will change depending on the subject. Pet portraits take less time than character illustrations or concept art.

a background may double or triple the estimated timeline!

  • I will send several screenshots of the art throughout the process. This is when you should give FEEDBACK. Ask questions and request any revisions you want. Include as much detail as possible! Don't sugar coat anything. I want to deliver something that satisfies you.

  • Provide any Toyhou.se links, drawings, screenshots, mood boards, playlists, and text descriptions you deem important! Help me get to know the character so I can depict them accurately.

  • If you love a completed sketch or flat color piece you've received, you can later request that I continue working on it. The payment will depend on the percent of work the update will take.

Refunds

  • Full refunds are only given if no work has been started when you cancel.

  • Partial refunds are only given if I am unable to finish the artwork. (illness, injured wrist, broken tablet, etc.)

  • When you're on a payment plan, I only complete as much work as has been payed for so for. This enables you to cancel if you're unable to pay the rest. You will receive the unfinished commission.

Revisions

You are allowed two free revisions during each stage. More than two revisions will incur a fee.
If you request a revision of subjects listed in an earlier stage than the art is in, you will incur a fee.

Stages

  1. Thumbnailing: Perspective, composition, and light direction may be revised.

  2. Sketching: Major details concerning character poses, props, and background details may be revised.

  3. Lining: Expressions and minor details in the character's design or small areas of the background may be revised.

  4. Lighting: Textures and values may be revised.

  5. Flat Color: General color and non-lined patterns may be revised.

Inconsistencies with the reference concerning tattoos, scarring, coat markings, patterning, and body type can be changed at any time.

Revisions are changes you want me to make to the art after receiving updates!
